cancellation policy Unexpected events keep us from our commitments on occasion. All cancellations or appointment change requests should be made as soon as practical. We would appreciate at least 48 hrs. notice for any change to or cancellation of your appointment. Cancellations made within 48 hours will be billed at 50% of the service fee. "No show" Appointments, cancellations inside of 24 hrs or "Day Of" cancellations will be charged in full. All consumer workshops, prepaid services and Gift Certificates, once purchased are final, and no refunds can be given if purchaser or recipient fails to schedule or changes their mind. new clients Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete paperwork, communicate your needs with your therapist and begin your treatment on time. cleanliness We do not have showers in our office, please be showered or bathed prior to your scheduled appointment. Avoid wearing strong perfumes and cologne. professionalism I maintain the highest standards of professionalism and ask that clients conduct is appropriate at all times. If client displays any inappropriate behavior, the treatment will be terminated, no refunds will be made and client will not be able to re-book. I provide a safe, non judgemental space for you to relax and thoroughly enjoy your treatment I do not violate boundaries and take effort to learn your comfort level as this work is close contact. I ask that you respect my boundaries as I will respect yours. insurance Healing Hands Bodywork is considered an out-of-network provider (All of massage is) with all insurances, meaning we do not contract directly with insurance and we do not submit the claims. We do provide our clients with a superbill that they submit to insurance for direct reimbursement. It is important to reach out to your insurance and ask what your out-of-network benefits are. We have some clients that get 100% and some that get nothing, it really depends on the plan Check your out-of-network benefits. We can also accept payment via HSA and FSA cards in many instances. We will help facilitate this process by providing you with a claim form or a 'super-bill' that you can then submit to your insurance company. We recommend that you contact your insurance company in advance to find out what your out-of-network benefits are.
