I have resisted the pressures to create online classes mostly because my offerings cannot really be taught remotely. It must be hands on. Further, my teaching style thrives on the energy of a live class. Having said that, one my courses, the 4 hour introduction to Chest & Breast massage, I felt would be the ideal candidate to create a webinar version. This course was intended to be brought into massage schools to introduce these concepts to the next generation of therapists. However due to the limitation of schools in my immediate area and schools nationally not excited about flying someone out for a 4 hour course I thought this would be the ideal way to introduce therapists to this life changing work. If they have sufficient interest from the webinar they could then come to any of my 2 day or 3 day in person courses.
Separately, and secondly, I have so many people asking if my 2 day course has ethics hours for CE (it has ethics but not hrs) I decided to create a specialized ethics only version to comply with NCBTMB standards regarding ethics course. Again, interested students could then move on to the in person 2 day or 3 day classes.

Introduction to Breast & Chest Massage - Webinar
This engaging webinar course is designed to introduce participants to Full Chest & Breast Massage & explore the challenges working in and around vulnerable areas. In this webinar course course, students will learn the rationale: the physical and emotional benefits of massage of the ribcage, chest and breasts within full body wellness massage. Emphasis will be placed on consent, communication, ethics, draping and on working hands-on in or near vulnerable areas. Useful for all students even if you never intend to work on breast tissue.
Learning Outcomes:
Participants will demonstrate an understanding of the physical and emotional benefits of working on the chest & breast. Students will also gain an initial understanding of the additional steps required to undertake this work; specifically in consent, communication, draping, intake information. Lastly students will gain an initial understanding about how to make this touch safe,, neutral and non-sexual. Teaching strategies Lecture Class participation Students will be evaluated based upon their participation and ability to answer questions. 4 hrs CEU

This webinar course is designed to introduce participants to the ethical implications of and principles involved in working in, on or around vulnerable areas. Too often the massage community's response is to simply avoid these areas at all costs. But there are many instances where the client request's or needs this work or the therapist believes more comprehensive treatment can achieve a better result for the client. This engaging live webinar will explore the challenges of working in and around vulnerable areas. We will discuss the ethical ways to approach Communication Consent & Safety. Communication is the foundation of every treatment. Second is informed consent. Without client consent, the work should never be performed. The last is Safety. Safety for the client and safety for the therapist, As a therapist being confident, comfortable, neutral in your touch makes all the difference in how the client experiences the work. A very useful and specific ethics course for therapists who wish to evolve their work into a practice with the highest degree of ethical standards, with the ability to address clients sensitive needs with confidence, not fear.
Learning Outcomes:
Participants will demonstrate an understanding of the ethical implications of working on, in or around vulnerable areas while at the same time gaining and understanding of the physical and emotional benefits to clients. Participants will also learn about the importance of boundaries and how to set up for success in protecting their clients as well as themselves. Teaching strategies Lecture Class participation Students will be evaluated based upon their participation and ability to answer questions. Students will also prepare a couple of short essays.
